How we help after a storm

When your insurer approves a claim for roofing or exteriors, Apex can perform the covered work. We photograph and document damage, prepare a clear scope, and coordinate with your adjuster on pricing for that scope so the work can move forward.

We do not act as a public adjuster. We may discuss the scope and pricing of covered work with your insurer or adjuster for the purpose of agreeing the work to be performed. You remain responsible for coverage decisions and all dealings with your insurer.

How payment works

Deductible

Apex will not pay, waive, rebate, credit, or absorb any portion of your insurance deductible. The deductible is the homeowner's responsibility and is due upon or before Substantial Completion.

Contract Price

The Contract Price is your insurer's approved Replacement Cost Value (RCV) for the agreed scope, plus any upgrades or non-covered items you authorize in writing.

Insurance proceeds

  • ACV (initial payment): due to Apex when you receive those funds from your insurer.
  • Recoverable depreciation: due to Apex when you receive it after completion.
  • Upgrades and non-covered items: you authorize these in writing; they are invoiced separately and due at Substantial Completion.

Not a public adjuster

Apex does not act as a public adjuster. We may discuss the scope and pricing of covered work with your insurer or adjuster to agree on the work. You remain responsible for coverage decisions and for your dealings with your insurer.

If your claim is denied

If the claim is denied or there is no covered scope, either party may cancel at no cost, except for any inspection or services you separately authorized in writing.

Warranty

Workmanship on residential insurance jobs is covered by the Apex Lifetime Workmanship Warranty.
